Silicon Nutrient – The solution for the highest yield
Silution is a plant strengthening liquid fertilizer based on stabilized silicic acid. In recent years there has been a growing interest in the use of silicic acid and its positive effects on plants. The effectiveness of silicic acid in strengthening the plant and stimulating growth and flowering is particularly visible with growers that have less optimal growing conditions such as in greenhouses, indoor crops, growing in warm climates and high risk infection conditions.
Even though silicon can be found in the soil almost everywhere on earth, it is usually not plant available. Most substrates do not contain enough plant available silicon. Mono silicic acid is the only form of silicon that is plant available. Moreover silica is very unstable, allowing insufficient uptake through the roots. Silica molecules have a tendency to bind together forming ever larger chains (polymerisation), which the plant is unable to absorb. Furthermore silicic acid also binds to other elements such as aluminium, iron, manganese and other minerals, that precipitate in the soil and therefore are no longer plant available as well.
Silution consists of a stabilized and bio-available form of silicic acid. It is a highly plant available and bio-active product that has positive effects on the plant.
Silution results in a better harvest: higher yield and a better quality. Silution’s unique qualities are enhanced and intensified even more with the addition of high-grade and purified biological fulvic acid. This pure fulvic acid not only further stabilizes the present silicic acid, it also stimulates the plant’s natural defense mechanism.
The combination of silicic acid and the natural fulvic acid as well as other trace elements such as boric acid and zinc, even further increases the stability and effectiveness.
Because most substrates have a shortage of plant available silicic acid, Silution should be given right from the start of the growing period. Using this stabilized silicic acid will show a significant improvement of the growth. This will be clearly visible in the increased size of the plant’s rooting system compared to control plants. Bigger roots take up more nutrients, which in turn allows the plant to grow better and faster. Because the plant becomes stronger and has a better defense mechanism (bio-fortification), the plant will be better able to resist external influences and diseases.
Silution is the ideal silicic acid fertilizer for drip irrigation systems. A fertilizer schedule using biologically available silicic acid combined with the high-grade fulvic acid results in among others:
- A crop that has a higher resistance against the negative impact of stress;
- Stronger cell walls;
- A stronger defense against plant infections and pests;
- A stronger defense against temperature differences and/or extreme temperatures;
- A higher quality and yield;
- A higher dry weight content of the end product.
Combine Silution with the fertilizer scheme throughout the entire growing cycle. Silution is a unique product and is not comparable to other silicon products . This product is protected by a patent.
Dosage
To the soil as root irrigation: 2 ml/10 litres pure water. More is unnecessary and works counterproductive.
Foliar spray: 2 ml/litre pure water with a pH of 5.0-6.0. Spray every two weeks.
First apply water to the nutrient tank, then add the correct amount of Silution and mix thoroughly. After this add the normal dosage of other fertilizers and additives and mix thoroughly again.
